Artists such as Cesária Évora introduced Cape Verdean music to the world, while countless musicians continue carrying our culture to new audiences every year.

Food is another language we all understand.

No dish represents Cape Verde more than Cachupa, the national dish that brings families together around the table. Fresh seafood, grilled meats, corn, beans, sweet potatoes, tropical fruits, and homemade desserts reflect the islands’ rich culinary traditions. Every island offers its own unique recipes, giving visitors a chance to experience something different wherever they travel.
